Artificers to the tabletop

Welcome to the workshop! I've been gaming for a few decades now. I started with Battletech back before the 3050 era, and slid into DnD and Warhammer 40k after using some of the minis for custom mechs. It just went from there and I fell in love with so many more games, minis and models. My pile of painting shame is both ancient and epic. Seriously, I still some Thunderwolf Cavalry from around when they were released I STILL haven't painted. For the last 16 years or so I've had the pleasure to drag Tank into all it! She's trying to branch out into terrain and dioramas as well. Even had her playing modded Minecraft for a while there!
When I got into 3D printing, Tank came up with the idea to merge my two interests, and so I named the shop after her. She's been invaluable at helping me to make this a reality. There's been so much to learn, and so many skills to master, it's been a real journey.

One of the great pleasures of this shop is getting the chance to interact with other gamers I never would have exchanged words with otherwise. And some others that use the models for other purposes, like a tarantula terrarium. The creativity of the gaming and minature community is simply astounding, and I love talking to them about it. Anyone who will listen, about any game! So hop on our socials, and if Butters the shop cat allows me access to my keyboard and use of my hands I'd love to chat about anything gaming. Even if it's a little indie game I've never heard of.

When I'm not doing shop stuff, I'm a Digital Prepress Operator at a printshop. The old school ink on paper kind. Before that I spent 17 years as an electronics repair tech on Enterprise class telecom gear. When the local community college started a Journeyman Brewer program, yeah, had to do that. I'm certified to make beer! In high school and for a few years after that I played in rock band that played around town a bit. But my biggest love is gaming and minis. Fantasy, sci fi, zompoc, post apocalypse, you name it. Can't seem to settle on a favorite!
